The bamboo forest at Kanahapa gardens is extensive with many large stands or many varities. The light filters thru and creates beautiful, intersting shadow patterns that shimmer and sparkle as the breeze moves the multi colored stalks. The light in the midst of the forest is changed and warmed by reflecting of the colorful bamboom. This is one of many paintings done on location of the bamboo at this garden. This painting is done on stretched canvas with a palette knife and some bruch work. It is framed in a black painted wood float frame. Contact me if you want it at a deduced price unframed.
