I made this belt buckle by carving wax from a variety of pictures of Salmon. They vary a lot with the time of year and the species, so there really isn't just one that looks like them all. The patina on all these bronze buckles will hold the color as it ages. In effect, I'm pre-aging them.
After I hand carved the wax model for this Salmon Fish buckle I used solid bronze to cast it and finished it with a brushed satin finish. A brown patina is applied to the buckle in the first picture and the others are left with the natural bronze color. The patina will stay in the recessed lines accenting the fishes texture and design. The patina can come out a little different each time so yours may not look exactly like the picture.
The Salmon head buckle fits on a 1.25 inch belt.

All buckles are signed and numbered with a unique number assuring authenticity. Each buckle is finished with a coat of hard wax. They are not lacquered or sprayed with urethane.
Most of my designs are usually available for fast delivery. However each piece is hand finished so please allow 7 to 10 days to finish the piece. Shipping usually takes another 2 to 5 days. If you need your buckle faster than that let me know. I may be able to rush it for you for a slight up charge.
